Privacy Policy

WorkSathi is a time tracking and team monitoring service for businesses. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and who can see it. If you have any question, write to us at Murtza9711@gmail.com.

1. What data we collect

  • Account data: your name, business name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash — we never see your password). Client admins provide the name and email of each agent they invite.
  • Team activity data: when an agent switches the timer ON, we record active and idle time, the apps and websites used (name and window title), task status, and screenshots taken at random intervals. We do not record keystrokes, and we do not collect location (GPS).
  • Payment data: payments are made by UPI directly to us. We do not collect or store card numbers, bank details or UPI PINs. We keep a record of the plan, amount and payment date for your subscription.
  • Support messages: emails or messages you send us when you ask for help.

2. How we use your data

We use your data only to run the service: to show you your team's hours, activity and reports, to manage your subscription and trial, to send invite and account emails, and to reply to support requests. We never sell your data and never show it to advertisers.

3. Who can see your team's data

  • Your workspace is private to your business. Only the admins of your workspace can see your team's data. Another client can never see your data, and you can never see theirs.
  • Agents can see only their own hours and tasks. Agents never see screenshots — not even their own.
  • We (WorkSathi) access your data only when needed to fix a problem you reported or to keep the service running.

4. Monitoring disclosure

WorkSathi records work activity while the timer is ON. If you are an employer, you are responsible for informing your team members that monitoring is in use, and for complying with the laws that apply in your country or state.

5. How long we keep data

We keep your data while your subscription (or trial) is active. If your plan expires or you cancel, your data is kept so you can reactivate, and is deleted on your written request. Database backups are kept for 7 days.

6. Security

Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Access to the service is protected by login and role-based permissions. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and change the default admin password after your first login.

7. Cookies

Our website uses only the cookies needed for it to work. We do not use advertising trackers.

8. Children

WorkSathi is a business tool for employers and their teams. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for material changes, inform workspace admins by email.
